Romain Fornell opened Caelis in 2004 and earned a Michelin star the very next year
In 2014, Caelis was named one of the Gold Standard Restaurants 2014 by Condé Nast Traveler.
In 2017, Caelis moved to Hotel Ohla Barcelona. The move is also a turning point in the restaurant's culinary offering and this new era will be more contemporary and less classical.
In November 2019, as part of the gala held by Michelin, Caelis confirmed the Michelin star. This Michelin star continues to light up our tables, and is synonymous with our renewed excitement. READ MORE

Tasting Menus

Passion for innovation, passion for tackling new challenges, passion for our work. Daring. Vanguard. Instinct. Balance.

This translates to three tasting menus (one of which is vegetarian), in addition to the Caelis Menu (a set menu served at midday).

This is the foundation on which our culinary offerings are based. Our wine list, with more than 300 references, pairs with it perfectly.

From Wednesday to Saturday, from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm, in addition to our tasting menus, we also offer a lunch menu (Caelis Menu - €42 VAT included) that changes weekly according to what is available at the market.

Caelis Privé

Caelis Privé is a private room where guests can host private lunches or dinners with dishes prepared and presented by our team of chefs, interacting and chatting with the diners. Caelis Privé can also be used for show cooking sessions and master classes. The room features a huge screen showing everything that is going on in the Caelis kitchen in real time, for an exceptionally unique experience.
